I’m a PhD student at the University of Liverpool, studying personality and pace-of-life in seabirds.
My main research interests are the consequences and drivers of individual differences in animals. I’m also interested in life history theory, stress physiology, foraging behaviour, and phenological change in animals.
I’ve worked mostly on field-based avian systems, recently moving from passerines to seabirds. My research page has more details of the projects I’ve worked on.
Currently I work on personality, stress responses and foraging behaviour in polar seabirds: black-legged kittiwakes in Svalbard, and Antarctic petrels in Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica.
